GLOB, A Truly Natural Paint

One day Artist and designer Ashley Phelps went on a journey to develop a truly natural, non-toxic, eco- friendly arts and crafts paint. As she researched standard paints, she found that most may not be as safe as you think. Although paints may say “non-toxic” many contain chemicals which are not actually required to be tested. The rationale being that there is no data to prove the synthetic pigments would be toxic. Hum…

The more Ashley researched, the more driven she was to create a line of paints that are truly natural. GLOB was born.

What is GLOB?

GLOB is an all natural color pigment which when mixed with water becomes paint. GLOB is crafted from fruits, vegetables, flowers and spices mixed with organic extracts and other natural food grade ingredients. GLOB colors include:

Lemon Verbena (yellow color)
Pomegranate (red)
Basil (green)
Tangerine (orange)
Berry (blue)
Plum (purple)

All the building blocks of GLOB pigments have been used throughout time in food, artists’ paints and body products. In addition, all the products and packaging in the GLOB line are made with natural, recyclable, sustainable or biodegradable materials.
