Kokeshi Kimonos

I love Kokeshi dolls and Japanese silk kimono fabric. Their simple yet adorably stylized design appeals to grownups and children alike. When I came across this great book from French Illustrator Annelore Parot, I had to share it.

Kokeshi Kimonos

The book contains beautifully illustrated pictures of hair dos, kimonos, the world of the kokeshi and more. A great art and craft book for young and old alike.

Origami.com has diagrams in pdf. It sdnous to me that you need to learn the folds maybe? If that is the case, type in origami folds in google and see what comes up. Or, you could try to start with something easier and move up to the complicated levels that way. Also, look for groups or forums that specialize in Origami. I know there is one on myspace if that helps. Good luck.
