A Big Bag of Flour

Recently I received a big bag of White Whole Wheat flour from Gold Metal Flour. No, that is not an oximoron, it is white, whole wheat flour.

The flour was sent to me and some other moms so that we could test out this new product. They also want you to test it out but more on that later…

What is White Whole Wheat Flour?

White whole wheat flour has the look and texture of refined white flour but more of the fiber rich content of traditional whole wheat flour. This is achieved by using milled white wheat instead of red wheat (which has been traditionally used in the USA). White Wheat is nothing new and is very common in the UK.

This week I am going to incorporate the white whole wheat flour into my recipes.  Check back for a new recipe and my results.
